This fiery kitchen spice is also known as chilli pepper or capsicum frutescens and it can be found in many stores and supermarkets. When powdered, it is reddish-orange in colour.

Although we may consider it a food ingredient rather than a health product, it could serve us well to change this perspective; cayenne has been used around the world as a medicine for hundreds of years.

As quickly as possible, put one teaspoon of the cayenne powder into hot water and stir it up.
Ensure that they are still breathing, and have them drink it down. Alternatively, if you possess cayenne tincture, administer 5 to 10 drops of this orally. These processes can be repeated every quarter of an hour if necessary.
There have even been instances recorded where cayenne brought people back from the dead, after oral administration of cayenne.
It goes without saying that a heart attack or stroke sufferer should seek medical treatment even if revived by cayenne pepper; it is important to be checked over afterwards in case of serious defects.
Cayenne can also be used as a preventative measure. Prevention is always better than cure, so it is a good idea to introduce more cayenne into the diet on a regular basis to strengthen the heart and improve circulation to the brain.
Keep cayenne pepper on you at all times
A cayenne tincture is a good thing to carry. It can be easier to distribute tincture to a person in trouble than getting them to drink a cup of tea with cayenne in it, but both of these methods are thought to be the most effective.
You could also consider carrying it in capsule form, or making capsules of it yourself from the powder, but these may not be as effective in an emergency.
